ABOUT

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Visual studies, School of Arts and Aesthetics, JNU, New Delhi, Dr Amphu Terangpi is a distinguished academic with a strong research focus and commitment to innovative learning. Her impressive publication record, international presentations, and academic engagements make her an inspiration for emerging scholars.

EDUCATION

With a PhD degree from the Centre for Folk Culture Studies, School of Social Science in the University of Hyderabad, Dr Amphu Terangpi completed her MFA and BFA in History of Art from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal. She did her PhD on Art and Craft of Karbi-Anglong of Assam: A Folkloric Study, under the supervision of former Prof. Y.A. Sudhakar Reddy, Head of Dept. & Dean of School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
