“The Centre for Karbi Studies has profoundly shaped the way I see the world through the lens of my own Karbi identity and philosophy. As one of its founding members, I have grown alongside CKS—an institution that has opened countless doors for me. It gave me opportunities to travel, to organise and coordinate regional, national, and international events, and to build a strong, diverse network. One of my impactful contributions through CKS has been designing the Heritage Learning Program, now in its 5th cohort. This program has become a safe, vibrant space for young people in our community—a space I believe will continue to nurture creativity, innovation, and transformation for years to come.”
